O​p 16 februari organiseert de faculteit een onthaaldag voor nieuwe medewerkers. We nodigen alle recent aangeworven medewerkers, hun peters en meters en alle collega’s die bij dit welkomstmoment betrokken willen worden, uit voor een gevulde namiddag. Een aantal centrale diensten van zowel de faculteit als de universiteit stellen zich voor en u krijgt tips en tricks voor een fijne werkomgeving en een geslaagde loopbaan. Bovendien is het een uitgelezen kans om kennis te maken met collega’s.

Programma:

• 13.30 u. - 14.00 u. : Welkomstwoord door de decaan en voorstelling decanaat 

• 14.00 u. -  15.00 u. : Voorstelling facultaire diensten onderwijs en onderzoek  

• Pauze

• 15.30 u. - 16.00 u. : Talentontwikkeling (Directie Personeel en Organisatie)  

• 16.00 u. - 17.00 u. : Welzijn en milieu aan UGent (IDPBW & afdeling Milieu)

• 17.00 u. : Hapje en drankje

Locatie: Faculteitsraadzaal (eerste verdieping Blandijnberg 2).

On the 16th February the faculty will host an event to welcome its new members of staff.  To that end we would like to invite our new colleagues, their mentors and of course all other colleagues to what we´re sure will be a full, informative and social afternoon. Speakers from various faculty and university central services will introduce themselves and provide tips and tricks for creating a satisfying work environment, and for building a successful career at the university. This event is also the perfect opportunity to get to know each other. 

Programme:

• ​13h30-14h: Brief word of welcome by the Dean, and introduction of the Dean’s office
  
  
• 14h-15h: Introduction of the Faculty Education services and the Committee for Scientific Research
  
  
• Break
  
  
• 15h30-16h: Talent management (Department of Personnel and Organization)
  
  
• 16h-17h: Welfare and Environment at UGent (Health and Safety Office & Environment Office)
  
  
• 17h: Reception 

Location: Faculty room (Blandijnberg 2, first floor).
