The Belgian American Educational Foundation (BAEF) offers scholarships for studies or research at top universities in the United States. The prestigious scholarships are open to all disciplines and are awarded after competitive selection. Through co-financing by Ghent University, five additional scholarships are granted to candidates from Ghent University which increases the chances of winning a scholarship.

The upcoming information session is particularly interesting for

• Candidates who may be interested in further study or research in the US in ‘26-’27 (application deadline 31/10/2025).
• Candidates who are (preferably) already in the process of applying at US universities and who would like to submit a BAEF application before the deadline of 31/10/2024 in view of a stay in the US in ’25-’26 and who still may have questions about the application procedure.
